Luca Delli Carri was born in Milan, in 1969, and has raced go-karts and cars. He abandoned his university studies to embark on a career as a journalist. He has written on the automobile and motor sports pages of Corriere della Sera and Il Giornale, and several monthlies. He has also compiled an encyclopaedia on the history of Ferrari and edited a monthly Formula 1 magazine.
