The book by Stefano Salvetti pays tribute to vehicles produced by the Alfa Romeo, maybe less “image” than cars, but essential to its progress. Full of photos and technical information, as well as a comprehensive overview of all means medium and heavy products from the door, in Pomigliano and in Brazil, from the 30s to 50s all, and numerous buses and coaches with bodywork on Alfa from best known bodies of the time. A large section devoted to ads of the period, an equally comprehensive review of boards and technical drawings, a complete table of periods and exemplary products and finally a survey of most of the units delivered complete the work. An interesting work not only for alfisti, but for those who want to explore the evolution of work vehicles in the period from the Italian colonies in Africa until the years of the economic boom.
