24.04.2013
by Marco Privitera
They have already been twelve years since the bloody April 25, 2001, when an accident on the track of the Lausitzring took away one of the most recognized and beloved Italian sports ever: Michele Alboreto. The memory of the great pilot has not yet faded. And it was this spring capable of pushing his brother Ermanno to write a book, entitled "Alboretro", born not so much in order to retrace the life of Michele pilot, but rather to recount the human side, through testimonials, anecdotes and photos collected from a privileged point of view. Ermanno says, "I worked for six years on this project and it was not easy ...". The director of Quattroruote, Carlo Cavicchi: "Michele was a sunny person, a gentleman, but also a very fast driver, capable of excellent performance particularly over a single lap".
